A Gift of Goats: Supporting an Elderly Woman with Dignity
Sometimes, a small gift can make a meaningful difference in someone’s daily life.
An elderly woman approached MAH Charity with a simple request. She wished to keep goats as a way of following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, while also helping reduce the cost of buying milk for herself.
Understanding her wish and her circumstances, MAH Charity was able to provide two goats — a mother and her young kid.
For her, this was more than simply receiving two animals. It was an opportunity to fulfil something close to her heart while also having access to fresh milk and reducing one of her regular household expenses.
